Show us your life:Wedding Dress

So, we have been married a little over 3 years now and I thought I would share my wedding dress story. About a month before our wedding I had a bride's nightmare come true. I did the whole bridal portrait thing. I found this spot on the bottom of my beautiful dress afterward and decided to go to a dry cleaners to get the spot removed, but told them if they were going to mess it up not to touch it. I even wrote this down for them. They decided to clean the whole dress, and they left the broach on for the process. They didn't even call and let me know what had happened! My mom called, and they told her to come with me to pick up the dress that they had picked it. My beautiful dress was now very ugly! We called the store where we purchased the dress and they said that they couldn't find one, but my wedding coordinator found my dress in a size 12 in California! At that point we had less than a month to get it to Georgia and to cut down to my size. Thankfully I had my dress! That was my major crisis as a bride. Thankfully the wedding day had no glitches! The picture above is the only snapshot picture I have to post.

My First Bike

We recently bought a bike for me! It was a very exciting purchase because like the title says it is my first bike. We have been riding almost every night through the town. The other night we rode a little over 5 miles which is a big deal for me. The hills out here are killer for the knees.

Besides the new bike all that is going on around here is that Patrick is working almost everyday on school work. We went and watched the new Harry Potter movie at the midnight showing. We don't know if we will be able to do that for the next one. I signed up for 2 classes at BVU to keep my k-5 endorsement on my teaching certificate. Then I will start working on my reading endorsement.

Knitting Bee

I have been knitting a great deal lately. I just wanted to share some of my most recent projects with you all.
This is the bathmat that I just finished from my knitting book,"Mason Dixon Knitting." It is supposed to hold up to 3 gallons of water. It is also very soft. I am debating on saving it for the next couple to get married or using it myself. Tell me your thoughts.
This is a micro premie hat. I just had to make one. If anyone has any contacts on where I can send this so that it will be used please let me know. I could also send it to you if you know someone personally.
I made this fun dress up scarf for my dear friend Heather, and I hope she recieves this before she reads about it on here! I have had this for awhile, and I hope she picked it up from my parents house since I haven't been able to see her since her birthday.

This is also a fun gift I made to go with the scarf. It can be used as a dishcloth or facecloth. I have used them for both purposes.

Here are two of the six baby hats I have made in the past two weeks.
Sorry to bore everyone, but I thought I would share my favorite hobby projects with you all!
