Blessings

This weekend our Sunday School Class hosted Patrick and I a going away party. We had a great time of fellowship, food, and games. We have been blessed with great friendships here in Rock Hill/Fort Mill and we hope that everyone stays in contact with us through email, phone, or facebook. Also, please plan on coming out and seeing us. We will miss each of you!The Beautiful Ladies: (top left to right): Carla, Me, Jessica, Lottie, (bottom left to right): Stephanie, Kelly, and Kimber

Time with a Good Friend

Last night we spent time with our good friend Jake. We had a blast at Concord Mills! We ate supper then went out and raced Go Carts. Patrick will say he was in the lead most of the race, but his car did something funny at the end or he would have won! Jake actually won the race. I believe I got the slowest cart ever! I came in last of all the carts, but that was okay I just enjoyed getting to ride. Then we went and played putt putt. I had my best game ever I believe. Which Patrick found surprising. Those that have ever played with me know that I am horrible at mini golf! I hit the ball too hard and usually it takes me 5 tries before getting the ball in the hole! No I didn't win, but I was excited about my improvement. Jake and I both experienced hole in ones. (See the pictures below). We ended our fun at the Mills with the best ice cream ever (Coldstone). We then headed back to the Hill to watch Bride Wars at the apartment. I subjected the boys to a chick flick. Every once in awhile I get to pick the movie, and I believe I did a good job. The movie was very entertaining.Jake's Hole in One Shot!

Boxes everywhere and more

I feel surrounded by an assortment of packing boxes. They are everywhere and are slowly driving me crazy. The sad part is that we still have more to pack, and only about 9 days left to get everything together in boxes because on June 4th we will be loading the truck. It is hard to believe that we will be moving in 11 days yes I just counted.
I am about to finish my 4th year of teaching! Go me. I have roughly 6 days with students and 1 half day after they leave on June 4th.
This past weekend we celebrated Patrick's birthday he turned 27. We went out to eat with friends of ours Jocquin and Kelly and hung out with them on the 22. Then for his birthday we drove down to Augusta to visit family(MOM and DAD Box). The weekend was fab.
We are looking forward to the next few days in Rock Hill.

Goodbyes

This weekend we traveled to Greenville to be with a group of great friends. It is so nice to be able to go and hang out and be blessed with catching up with everyone. I planned on posting some great pictures from the weekend, but Patrick went off with the camera. So everyone will have to wait to see all the great times. Chris and Katy threw a beautiful shower for Elizabeth and Scott's new baby. Everything went perfect! Then on Sunday we had a great going away cook out. We feel so blessed to have friends that care so much about us to travel from Athens and Augusta or just down the road to the Golden's place. Thanks everyone you are great.
It was also exciting to get to see my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece. We enjoyed visiting the Bullocks, playing with Truman and his trains/tackle, feeding and loving on Sarah Spratlin. We then went to supper and then headed back to Rock Hill.

Graduation May 7th, 2009

Graduation day was a very special day for us all! Patrick graduated from Winthrop University with his Master's in Music Education with a 4.0! We enjoyed having family come up and share this special occasion with us. They made the day more special than it already was. We would like to thank our families for all their support through this journey in our lives.
