Books to Read!

1. Janice Thompson is back with a new book. Her new book is called Picture Perfect and it is absolutely adorable. If you enjoyed the characters from her series Weddings by Bella you are in for a treat.
2. The Right Call by Kathy Herman is the third book in the Sophie Trace book. If you enjoy mystery check out this series. An added bonus there is a series that connects to this series that takes place in Louisiana not in Tennessee. That series is on my to read list.
3. Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys will pull at your heart strings. This book takes you on the journey of a young girl and her family that was captured and taken to work camps by the Soviets in World War II.
4. Lineage of Grace book 1 Unveiled by Francine Rivers. This book captures the life of Tamar. A wonderful book that helps you study the tribe of Judah. It contains Bible studies at the end. I am excited to read the next 4 in this series.
5. Hatteras Girl by Alice J. Wisler is a wonderful book for those of that wish to be at the beach! A wonderful story about the Outer Banks.
6.  I am currently a little over half way finished with A Wedding Invitation by Alice J. Wisler. So far the main character has went to the wrong wedding, taught school overseas, works with her mom at a dress shop, and visits with her fun aunt in Winston Salem. My goal is to finish this book by April 30.
There you have it my books for April! I would encourage you to check out the web pages of the authors I have mentioned they are filled with so much information.

2.Finish the blue cable blanket.
3. Knit something out of my comfort zone. This means something besides blankets, scarfs, and rags. I have just the project as soon as I get the blue cable blanket finished.
4. Do something crafty with Charles
5. Play in the snow with the family. I am going to give myself grace here and say taking pictures of Charles looking at the snow/pictures of snow accomplishing this goal. We have had massive winds with our snow. Also, I don't want to purchase snow pants for Charles that he will only wear 1 or 2 times. Lastly, we have had a huge amount of sickness in our home I would rather not aide in any way to another round of sickness.
6. Rake leaves into a pile and jump in.
9. Go tubing or white water rafting.
10. Donate 10 inches to locks of love.
11. Make or do something on Pinterest.
12. Do a moviethon with Patrick. Watch a set of movies that are sequels complete with popcorn & candy or cookies.
13.Encourage others: prayers, cards, emails, and phone calls. This is ongoing and I'm praying for the request I know of. I have been sending random cards, emails, and texts.

Another Goal for 2013 Complete

8. Try a new recipe.

Crock Pot Chicken Noodles

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
2 cans of cream of chicken
1/2 stick of butter
2  15 oz cans of chicken broth ( I used Swanson's 32 oz and it turned out great)
24 oz bag of Reames frozen noodles

Directions:
Put 1st four ingredients in crock pot on low for 6-7 hours.
After letting the chicken cook for 6-7 hours on low take the chicken out and shred it.
Put the chicken back in the crock pot after shredding it.
Add your frozen noodles and continue to cook on low for an additional 1-2 hours.
* You can serve this over mashed potatoes. We served mashed potatoes and lima beans with this dish.
* I started this early so we went with 7 hours on low and 2 hours for the noodles and it was excellent! This is so easy and yummy. This makes a lot and is still very delicious as leftovers.
* As always use the crock pot liners they save so much time!!!
* This recipe was given to me from a fellow colleague.
