Our 1st Home Game as Tigers

The game went wonderfully! The stands were packed on both sides last night. Carroll played their in town rival the local Catholic school. The band played the whole game, and everyone is used to them not playing after half time. I think everyone enjoyed them playing though. Of course they had 3rd quarter off to relax, but they ended with pep songs. Fall Football is in the air!!!
The scoreboard at half time! Our boys were doing great! We won but I forgot to take a final scoreboard picture!Patrick talking to the band getting them focused and pumped to play at half-time!
Here are our football boys ready to do some damage on the scoreboard and the field. GO TIGERS!!!!!!

Friday Night Lights

Tonight is the first home game of the season! I am looking forward to seeing our Tigers WIN tonight. The weather already feels like football weather. I will be posting pictures of tonights game very soon.

We are still looking for our first home. The whole process is going okay. I hope we find something we both like that is in our price range.

Patrick has been very busy with middle and high school band, and I know he will be rewarded for his great efforts/hard work. The students are doing great I can't wait to see how awesome they will be by the end of the school year.

I am substitute teaching a good bit and I am enjoying how great the students are. I hope to continue to be busy. Staying at home gets to be very boring when you are alone.

Band Camp

We just finished our 3 day band camp. It was really amazing how hard the students worked without complaint. I'm not sure if I have ever been around such well mannered sweet teens as what we had at camp. To reward them for all of their hard work we had a movie night at the school. We watched the movie Clue, ate movie popcorn and homemade Brownies, and had soft drinks galore. Here is to a great year with our band!
